Thank you... hero

Hello!  How is everyone doing?  Rosemary here with a card that I made using the free digital images that Jillian created.  You can find the images here.  Last week I told you I was digi challenged, but I managed to figure out what worked for me to create my card!  I also used lots of fun A Jillian Vance Design dies and the Thank You stamp set to complete my card.

My first attempt at using the images was a huge fail.  I don't think I really have the right kind of printer for coloring digital images with Copic markers as the ink smeared a little as I was trying to color the image.  So back to the drawing board I went and decided to just print the image on colored cardstock.  I don't know why I settled on the light aqua other than it often seems like in commercials or movies that is the color of the scrubs doctors and nurses are seen wearing.  Anywhoo… I trimmed out the image that you see on the card.  When I first tried coloring the image I had colored in the little heart read, so I trimmed that out, adhered it to the one I printed on the colored cardstock and then covered the heart with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew.  I then found some patterned paper with the same aqua color in it as well as red and kraft.  I kept things mainly in the red/aqua/white color combo by die cutting the Instant Photo frame from red and adhering it to the striped panel that I die cut with the largest Stitched Dot Rectangle die.  The panel was layered on more aqua cardstock die cut with the largest Rectangle Backdrop die.   I die cut the fun polka dot cardstock using two of the Stitched Dot Heart dies, layering one on the photo frame before adhering the main image.  The smaller heart was covered with more of the Morning Dew Crystal drops.  I die cut the banner from white cardstock using the banner die from the Instant Frame 2.0 die set and stamped it with the sentiment using VersaFine CLAIR ink.  Then I adhered that to the card front finishing with the little die cut heart.

Darling card & I love the color combo! Maybe I could manage to print an image on colored cardstock, but hard to justify with all my stamps--haha! Neat to have the option of the scrub top at this time. Might end up using it to thank our doctor for continuing to work during the pandemic.
