He is Risen...

Hello! Rosemary here and I'm back with another Easter card done up in soft colors.  I used the same patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye pad that I used last week.  I had originally started out making something completely different and then once I got it to the point of being nearly finished I didn't really like how it was turning out so I started over!  I don't often do that, but sometimes that's what happens.  My card uses the He is Risen 2.0 stamp set along with the recently released Signature Polka Dot cover plate die and a couple of tried and true AJVD dies!

The card is pretty simple, actually.  I simply found a pretty piece of patterned paper from the pad and die cut it with the largest Rectangle Backdrop die.  I then die cut the Signature Polka Dot cover plate die from white cardstock and adhered it to the patterned paper die cut with Just Glue It adhesive.  The light blue gingham piece was die cut with a medium sized Stitched Dot Rectangle die and then stamped with the lily image from the He is Risen 2.0 set in VersaMark watermark ink.  I applied white embossing powder and heat set.  That piece was adhered with foam tape to the larger panel.  I die cut some vellum with the small tag from the Minnie Pearl Tag die set, stamped the sentiment in watermark ink, applied white embossing powder and heat set.  The tag was adhered to the gingham panel with rolled up Zots and then I added the little twine bow.  The entire piece was then adhered to a kraft cardstock base.
