A Musical Happy Birthday

Hello, everyone! Jillian from A Jillian Vance Design. Today's card is a very special one!!!

If you know me, you know I love music. I love listening to it, playing it, going to concerts; I can't wait until we're able to attend those again! I got a record player for my birthday five years ago, and I absolutely love it. I've built up my vinyl collection with both old and new music. Most of these records, I've gotten from Spoonful Records. It's a record store in Columbus, Ohio! The owners are such great people, the store is adorable, and they have such a wide variety of absolutely everything. And, they now have a website, so if you're in need of anything, visit their site HERE!

The two owners, Brett and Amy have been so awesome throughout the years!

Amy contacted us about wanting to flood Brett with cards from all around since his birthday was yesterday and we've all been quarantined, and of course I said I would make him one! No matter where I go, what stores I visit, they are still the absolute nicest and most knowledgeable people.

So... I created this fun little record card! To create the vinyl record, I just took my Basic Circle Backdrop and Polka Dot Backdrop dies to layer the black and the teal. Then, for the smaller circle in the center, I just used a smaller circle die from one of my upcoming sets, and voila! I also added a stamp on the envelope. It was super fun and simple to create, and I love the way it looks!

Happy (belated) Birthday, Brett! I hope it was a great one.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!
