A Jillian Vance Design: Celebrate You!

Lisa here and today I'm sharing this one with you... a pretty card for any occasion!

I started with the beautiful Stitched Plaid Cover Plate... and when you use it white on white, it makes the most beautiful texture behind any design! Let's face it... it's plaid. I'll love it in any color!

I also love those big bold flowers in the Dear Daisy stamp set! Plenty of room to color and add your own little touches. I decided this time around I'd use some colors that I don't always reach for first for the big bloom. I picked YR18, R32, and R30 for the petals; Y15, Y11, E97 and E23 for the center and YG01, YG03 and YG17 (these greens are the ones I reach for first!). I love how the Orange and Pinks blended together! I used some Prismacolor pencils to add some shading and detail. I'll definitely use this combo again!

I had fun building my sentiment using the Celebrate from the Celebrate You sentiment in the Make A Wish stamp set and instead of using the You in the sentiment, I used the Headline Alpha, cut it from Copic Friendly paper and used those wonderful orange and pinks together again to create an Ombre effect.

Those leaves from the Spring Birdie Die Set made the perfect flourish along with a few sparkly white baubles!

I love making my cards so that depending on what I decide to stamp inside, it could be for almost anything!
