Celebrate the Glory of Easter

Hello everyone!  I hope you all are continuing to stay safe right now.   With Easter coming soon I (Rosemary) made another Easter card.  I tend to forget that I have certain things but recently I did some reorganizing of my dies and now I have certain dies in a place where I see them with regularity.  It was because of that reorganization that I was able to use one of the fun cover plate dies from A Jillian Vance Design along with the He is Risen 2.0 die set and the Stitched Sentiment Strips 2.0 die set.

I went with a very soft color scheme for this card and used some patterned papers from the beautiful Gingham Gardens 6x6 pad by My Mind's Eye.  I started by pulling out a piece with a woodgrain pattern and die cut it with the largest die from the Rectangle Backdrop die set.  I then die cut the Stitched Plaid cover plate die from white cardstock and adhered that on top with Just Glue It adhesive.  I then die cut 3 laurel leaves using the Laurel Leaves die set and adhered them together with the Just Glue It adhesive.  A strip of plaid paper from the pad was trimmed and wrapped around the main panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the He is Risen 2.0 set with watermark ink on vellum that had been die cut with one of the Sentiment Strip 2.0 dies and heat embossed in white.  That strip was also wrapped around the main panel and then I adhered the laurel leaves behind it with Just Glue It adhesive.  The panel was adhered to a light aqua card base and finished with a white twine bow.  Going to add this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of anything goes.
