with gratitude...

Hello and happy Wednesday!  Rosemary here with a thank you card that I made with the new Thank You stamp set.  The large Thank You sentiment in the set is a perfect match for the Bold Thank You die.   And when I say perfect I mean perfect.  There is absolutely no white space around the edges once it is cut out!  Love that!

After determining that I was going to use the Thank You stamp set and Bold Thank You die I set about figuring out my design.  My work space was a mess when I started (and it still is, lol!) and so I decided to do a bit of cleaning and found some patterned paper that I thought would be fun to use.  So I die cut the paper using the Open Daisy dies and then adhered them flat to white cardstock using Just Glue It adhesive.  Once the piece was dry I die cut it with the largest rectangle backdrop die.  I picked an ink color that was a close match to one of the colors in the patterned paper, stamped the large thank you and then die cut with the matching die.  That was then popped up with foam tape.  I had stopped there, but decided it looked a little plain so I die cut some vellum with the fishtail banner die from the Stitched Sentiment Quartet die set, determined where my sentiment would be placed and then die cut the vellum down further to the size that you see.  The vellum was stamped with watermark ink and then heat embossed in white.  I adhered that with mini glue dots placed behind the sentiment to hide them.   Will be adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.

Very sweet card, and the vellum does add a lot and adds softness to the bright pp.
