hello spring...

Hello and happy Wednesday everyone!  Did you enjoy all the birthday celebrations going on this past week?  Rosemary here today with a card that I created using one of the new stamp sets from this release.  The set is call Eternal Spring and it is beautiful!  There are great sentiments, a fabulous background stamp and a floral image.  Perfect for making cards to celebrate spring or just about any occasion.  I also used the Dear Daisy stamp set and the banner die from the Instant Photo Frame 2.0 die set.

I started my card by stamping the background image on cream cardstock using a very light pink ink to create a very subtle background and then die cut with the largest Stitched Dot rectangle die.  The large daisy was stamped on some patterned paper using the same ink and then I trimmed it out making sure to remove the leave.  I stamped just the leaf portion of the image onto the green dotted paper with a green ink, trimmed it out and adhered it to the daisy.  The sentiment was centered on the daisy and stamped with the same ink I used to stamp the leaf.  Three banners were die cut from paper that coordinated with the flower and adhered to the main panel.  I wrapped some yellow twine around the panel, tied it in a bow and then adhered the panel to a light gray cardstock base with foam tape.  I finished by adhering the flower with additional foam tape.  I used the sketch from Sunday Stamps for my card so I will post it there.
