Day 4 - AJVD Birthday Celebration

Hello friends! I’m so happy to be sharing my first cards for A Jillian Vance Design as part of their Design Team. For today I have made two cards featuring the new release for January 2020. For these cards I used Daffodil Pair Dies, Eternal Spring and Thank You Stamp Sets. Also, I used Vintage Frame Dies and WOW! Embossing Powder products.

Let’s begin! I started by stamping the handwritten script image, from Eternal Spring Stamp Set, onto a teal cardstock using WOW! Embossing Pad and then heat embossed it with WOW! Earthtone Blueberry embossing powder. I adhered a white card base at the back.

Then, I die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Vintage Frame Dies and repeated this process 4 times. I glued all die cuts one on top of each other and then heat embossed this stack using WOW! Sea of Tranquility embossing powder. I adhered this frame to the background. Next, to make the flowers I die cut all pieces of the Daffodil Pair Dies using a dark and a soft shade of yellow cardstocks.

I put all pieces together using glue and double sided tape and added them to the background using foam tape. Finally, I stamped onto kraft cardstock the sentiment from the Thank You Stamp Set using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it with WOW! Earthtone Blueberry embossing powder and placed it on top of the panel plus some iridescent jewels and this card was finished.

For my second card, I used the resist embossing technique for my background. I stamped the handwritten script image, from Eternal Spring Stamp Set, onto a white cardstock using WOW! Embossing Pad and then heat embossed it with WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder.

Next, I applied watercolors to the panel in the shades of soft and dark pinks and a bit of purple. I really loved how this watercolor panel turned out! Also, I added splashes of pink and purple color. Once this panel was dry I added a white card base to the back.

Then, I die cut all the pieces of the Daffodils flowers out of white, pink and lilac cardstock using the coordinating dies. I put all pieces together using glue and placed them on top of the panel.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment from the Eternal Spring Stamp Set and added a few iridescent jewels and my card was ready.

Don’t forget about the GIVEAWAY and have a wonderful day!
