Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Happy Friday and Happy New Year!! :)
Today, I'm sharing a card that I actually made for my husband to celebrate our Anniversary, which was yesterday. ;) So I wanted to keep things pretty simple and plain.
I simply used the wood slice die and did some ink blending with a few different shades of brown inks. I wanted things to be pretty natural and real seeming. Once done, I embossed a heart into the wood using one of the heart dies. Easy peasy, right?!...Now, I left things blank BUT don't you think this is a great way to really personalize things?!...I thought about handwriting our names in the heart or writing the date/year, etc. So many options, right?! ;)
To finish off my card, I did use a piece of white cardstock and simply scored some lines here and there. Just to give a little bit of a background but not take over the main focal point. Sadly, I don't think you can see the lines much in my photo but they are there. ;)
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!
