Hello! Are you enjoying the Undercover Tech Week peeks?! I hope so! Rosemary here with a look at the new Floral Flourish Cover plate die. I paired it up with a sentiment from the new Just BeCLAUS stamp set to create a icy blue Christmas card. When I first saw this new die I had so many ideas running through my head! It is just so darn pretty! For my card today I kept thing really simple. I die cut some pretty marbled blue patterned paper with the Floral Flourish die and removed all the pieces. I was going to use all the pieces to create another card, but unfortunately it didn't quite work out the way I had wanted so I wasn't able to complete it, but I will give it another try in the future! I then die cut some silver cardstock using the largest Stitched Dot rectangle die and adhered the two panels together using Just Glue It adhesive. Because my other idea involved inlaying die cut pieces I had die cut a piece of white cardstock with the Flourish die and had removed all the interior pieces. That is when I got the idea to partially inlay the large white flourish piece and the small one back in as you see. I really like how it turned out! I also have some ideas on how to use those little flourish pieces on other projects... stay tuned, lol! I decided to have the flourish coming from the top righthand corner and so stamped my sentiment in black ink in the lower left corner and then adhered the panel with foam tape to a light blue cardstock base. Super simple, but a card that would be easy to mass produce and one that would not cost extra postage, either! A win-win!
