Good morning! Ardyth here with a fun Christmas card using the new Just BeClaus stamp set and the Checkerboard coverplate.
To start, I cut the coverplate from some computer paper, to create a one-time stencil. I blended red ink through it, then I shifted it and blended more red ink, but lighter this time, over the areas that had the tiny lines.
Then I flipped the stencil over, and blended red ink through, one more time, and that created the little cross-hatch patterns.
I trimmed the panel with the second largest Stitched Dot Rectangle die and backed it with some silver glitter cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment with black ink, right on the panel and then I stamped the Santa on another piece of cardstock. I coloured it with Copic markers and fussy cut it. I had to 'shorten' the string holding the star so that it would fit. I just cut a portion of the string out of the image, and then made sure that the two ends matched up.
