Hello and happy Wednesday everyone! Rosemary here on the blog today. Did you enjoy all the projects created with the fabulous new cover plate dies? I know I did! Today I have a card that I made using some older dies and the new Autumn Pumpkin stamp set.
I got a little behind on making my card for this week. When that happens I have a 'go to' type of card that I like to make and that is one that features die cutting. For this card I used the Grand Leaf Trio die set and some lovely patterned paper from the Fall Market 6x6 pad from Carta Bella. I settled on the sentiment from Autumn Pumpkin and decided to die cut my leaves so that each one had a flower at the center of the leaf. I then used the stitch lines in the leaves to create peak and valley folds in the leaves to give them more dimension. Some additional paper was die cut with the largest Stitched Dot Rectangle die and then stamped with the sentiment in a brown ink. I adhered the leaves with Just Glue It adhesive. Then I got the idea to create a string of bows to adhere to each of the leaves. It was a great idea, but I ended up creating a bit of a problem for myself, lol. Thankfully I was able to make it look okay!

Those leaves are absolutely beautiful, Rosemary! So clever to have the flowers in the centers to go with the sentiment! Love the bows, too!
