Ok, I can't believe how fast summer is flying by! like really July 4th is OVER!!!
I will say we have enjoyed the pool more this year. We have a gas heater but our solar cover really does a great job. With the Ohio heat, it was 97 degrees last week...not real refreshing I will say!
So I thought it fitting to have a Mermaid card!
These designs were released last summer to A Jillian Vance Design and still classics to use every year!
I chose the Catherine Pooler Stone Blue Ink because I wanted a softer look to the ocean!
I used the Mermaid Scales Cover Plate as a Stencil to create a nice subtle background for my card. Then stamped the Curls and Swirls Background Builder Stamp in the same Stone Blue Ink and edged it with the Waves Die that is included in the Anchor's Aweigh Die Set.
Chose the golden accents for the Mermaid Tail and mat layer, added the White Mini Sailboat and white Sentiment Strip stamped with Catehrine Pooler Juniper Mist Ink with a sentiment from Shell Yeah! Stamp Set.
Glue it all together with our Just Glue It liquid adhesive that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
And there you have it! A fun Summer card that really is quite simple to make!
