Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Happy Friday!
I'm swinging in today to share a simple and fun Mom's card with you!
I started my card by experimenting with some things...I had a vision in my head and was hoping it would work, but we all know how things can go at times, right?! ;) Well, this time my little idea worked! :) I started by using some watercolor paper and then used a scrap piece of cardstock to make a stencil out of it. In this case, I used the Blooming Rose die.
Once having my stencil done, I placed it over my cardstock where I wanted it. Then I used a transparent gloss embossing paste and smeared it over my stencil. Now for the fun part (and what I was thinking in my head)...while my stencil was still in place and the embossing paste was still freshly smeared/wet, I added a few touches of Nuvo color burst powder and then spritzed it with some water (to make the color 'burst'). After, I removed the stencil and then let things dry. Fun. right?!...
To finish things off, a simple die cut Mom piece. Which I used a pink cardstock and a white cardstock for and then layered them together, having the pink slightly peek out from underneath the white. Then I added a simple sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and added it to my card. Easy peasy, right?!...
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!
