Forever be my Always

Hi there, it's Tracey back again today with a card that I was inspired to create after a recent trip to the islands of Turks & Caicos! The Mermaid Scales Cover Plate die created a stencil for me to use for my background and the Sea Shells & Mermaid Tail die set used along with it gave me just the vibe I was looking for in my design. Using dies in unexpected ways gives you another opportunity to get more mileage from your supplies and with a different twist.

I began by die cutting the largest die from the Elegant Stitched Rectangle Backdrop dies. Then I cut the Mermaid Scales Cover Plate die from cardstock and used it as a stencil for my background by blending inks over it. I added my favourite sentiment from the Big Love stamp set to the card which could be easily used for an anniversary or a wedding.  The two shells were die cut and ink blended before being added to the main panel with tape runner and adhesive foam tape. The panel was finally secured to an aqua card base.

Thanks for dropping by today and check back tomorrow for more A Jillian Vance Design inspiration!
