Celebrate new beginnings

Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Happy Friday!

Today, I'm sharing a simple and sweet card with you.

I started with using the 'weather wood' background stamp and stamping it on my card panel. Which I chose a 'stone blue' ink for the color. Once stamped, I used the 'stitched dot rectangle' die with it and then I set it aside. I then started working on my bloom. I used the 'beautiful rose' die with some watercolor cardstock. After, I simply chose some watercolors to use and started to add it to my rose. (Note: I didn't worry too much about staying in the 'lines' because I knew I was going to take the 'pieces' out and place them into a 'new' die cut rose. ;))

After letting things dry, I took all my rose and leaf pieces out of the die and then added them to a new freshly cut die piece. That way everything was 'clean'. I also did watercolor an extra leaf, so there could be three. ;) Before adding my rose to my base card, I stamped on my sentiment, using black ink. Then added my rose, which I used foam tape on the back of except for the one leaf and then added it to my card. SImple, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!
