to my beau-TEA-ful mom...

Hello everyone!  Rosemary here with a fun spring inspired card that could be for Mother's day or for mom's birthday.   Last week's Daisy card really got me in the mood for spring and so I wanted to continue with that theme for this week's card.  I even used the same patterned papers that I used for last week's card!  This card was created using the Coffee, Tea & Me die set along with a sentiment from the Brewtiful stamp set.

I flipped through the remaining papers in the 6x6 My Mind's Eye Howdy Doody pad to find coordinating papers to use.  I thought the piece that looks like lined paper would be good for the background and die cut that with the largest Stitched Dot rectangle die.  I then chose the other paper I used based on some of the colors found in the background piece.  The flowers were die cut using the Wildflower die set (current in the sale category so grab a set quick!) and the leaf using one of the dies from the Leaves & Petals die set.  Once I finished die cutting I layered up everything on the card.  I die cut some vellum using the thinnest die from the Sentiment Strips die set, stamped it with watermark ink and heat embossed in white.  It was trimmed down and then adhered as you see.  Love how this turned out!
