thinking of you...

Hello and happy Wednesday everyone!  Rosemary here with a rather busy card today, lol!  As I was making the card I knew that I was using lots of different patterned papers, but it wasn't until I was editing my photos that I realized just how busy this card really was!  Lots of die cutting on this one, again!  This time I used one of my favorite A Jillian Vance Design dies... Swirly Vine along with Fringe Flower die set.  The sentiment is from the Get Well Wishes stamp set.

I started by picking papers to die cut the two fringe flowers from.  The large flower was die cut twice from the same paper and adhered together.  I die cut the smaller flowers from a pink gingham piece from the pad.  There is a die in the set that I think is used to create the flower center so I cut that from the same papers and then just layered the yellow one with the pink flowers and the pink one with the yellow flower.  Then I added the round flower centers as you see.  I had originally die cut leaves using a paper from the pad that was very neutral, but I didn't like how it looked so that is when I turned to the Swirly Vine die.  I die cut that twice from some plaid paper in the pad and cut each one apart.  The large background piece was die cut with the largest Stitched Dot Rectangle and then the smaller one with a basic rectangle backdrop die.   The sentiment was positioned on the smaller rectangle and stamped with Catherine Pooler Black Jack ink.   Then I layered everything up on a light gray card base.
