Easter Joy

Hi there it's Tracey, and I'm back today with a sweet card for Easter. Stretch your mind with your supplies, I used stamps and dies today that were not meant for Easter to create my scene.

The bunny peeking out from behind the pile of watercoloured eggs was made from the Dancing Daisies Cover Plate die. I cut one from a panel of white cardstock and then I used scissors to trim off one of the daisies to make the ears that pop up behind the eggs!

I started with a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock that I ink blended with green for the grass and blue for the sky. The panel was cut down using the Stitched Dot Rectangle Backdrop dies, I used the second largest die. Joy from the Poinsettia Greeting Stamp set   was stamped on to the grass with black ink. The background panel was adhered to the card base using foam tape for dimension.

Five eggs were cut with the Cracked Egg Die using watercolour paper. Then I watercoloured the egg in different colours. Once they were dry I flicked some clean water on them to create some speckles. The ears were adhered first and then I arranged the eggs onto the background as though they were in a pile. What bunny wouldn't hide behind these brightly coloured Easter eggs!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Enjoy the rest of your week!
