Turning Thanks



Good morning! Ardyth here with a fun and easy way to create a patterned background using a MISTI and simple turning.

I started with a 4x4 piece of white cardstock, and a simple Thanks sentiment from Beautiful Rose. I placed the stamp near, but not on the centre of the panel, and inked it up with Catherine Pooler Rockin' Red ink. Then I turned the cardstock and stamped it again. And again, until I had done 4 impressions. I moved the stamp and stamped it 4 times with Orange Twist ink. Then I moved it again, and stamped it 4 times with Tiara ink. And so on, working my way through the rainbow.

When I finished, there were little spaces all over the card that I filled with some tiny heart stamps from the new Big Love stamp set. 

I cut two Stitched Dot Heart dies and coloured one with Copic markers before adhering it to the centre of my stamped panel. I left the smaller heart white and popped it up on the rainbow.
