snow many thanks...

Happy day after Christmas everyone!  Rosemary here on the blog today.  I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas filled with lots of good things!  Now that all the packages are unwrapped it is time to start thinking about those thank you notes and so I'm sharing a thank you card that I made using the recently released A Cool Friend stamp set.

I stamped the snowman on light gray cardstock using black ink and then colored him with a combination of Prisma color pencils and Polychromos colored pencils.  I left the stamp in my stamping tool so that when I was done I could stamp over the image and have a nice crisp outline.   I die cut the piece with the second largest Stitched Dot rectangle die and then matted it with white cardstock die cut with the largest Stitched Dot rectangle die.   The sentiment was stamped on white cardstock that had been die cut with the thinnest Sentiment Strips die.  I trimmed it down and adhered it to the card front.  The smallest snowflake from the Delicate Snowflake Trio die set from some patterned paper and adhered it to the sentiment along with a little frosted enamel dot that I had in my stash.  Adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of anything goes.
