Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Happy Friday!
Today, I'm sharing one final Christmas card with you. I'm not leaving or anything...lol Just after my post today, I'll be gearing up for 'love'. ;)
So I started with my background. Which I stamped on the poinsettia stamp using black ink and then used markers to color it in. In this case I chose purples for the petals, greens for the leaves, and blues for the centers. Lately, I've been liking the non traditional colors for poinsettias. ;)
After having things colored, I used the stitched dot rectangle die and placed it in the center of my panel. Then I used the same die with plain white cardstock and did that twice. So I layered my rectangles a total of three times, including my top colored layer. Once done, I added my panel to my card base and then added my rectangle back in the center of my card. To finish things off, I added a die cut 'Peace' using silver glitter cardstock (which I also layered two times) and then added a touch of jewels. Simple, yeah?!...
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

This is gorgeous! I love non-traditional colors for any flowers and especially poinsettia's. Purple is my favorite color and Poinsettia's are one of my favorite flowers so I am swooning over this one. The silver glitter Peace really sets it off perfectly. Thank you for sharing one final Christmas card and for the inspiration, I must get my markers and poinsettia stamps out now lol. Merry Christmas!! (mardy14@bellsouth.net)
