Good morning! Ardyth here with a simple halloween card using the Perfect Pumpkin die set. I created this watercoloured look by doing some very easy ink smooshing with Catherine Pooler inks. These inks are fabulous for, well, every technique I've tried with them!
I cut the pumpkin, stem and leaves from watercolour cardstock and then smooshed inks onto my craft mat. I spritzed them with water then picked them up with the watercolour die cuts. By drying between layers, you can layer up the colours and get some really great colour variation - you can see the yellow kind of glowing through the orange inks that I applied later in the process.
For my background, I took a black 4x4 square panel and used the curved edge from the Elegant Stitched Dot Edges die set. I cut it off-centre for some interst and to leave a bigger space for my sentiment on one side.
The sentiment is from Happy Halloween and was stamped with midnight ink.
A very simple card, but the contrast between the black and bright orange really makes that pumpkin pop!
