It is the Canadian Thanksgiving this coming weekend. As always we are still in summer mode here and all of the sudden, fall arrives and so does our Thanksgiving, the second Monday in October.
The Best of Fall stamp set has images that are perfect for fall cards but also for mass producing cards. I stamped and clear embossed this trio of pumpkins image on to Bristol Smooth cardstock so that I could colour them with my ZIG markers. When I stamp something to colour I tend to stamp out multiples and either use the one that I think turned out the best or I make a collection of similar cards like I did here today. Once I finished my colouring I cut out the images with my Scan N Cut but this image would be an easy one to fussy cut especially with the embossed lines.
I cut three 5 1/4" x 4" panels of white heavyweight cardstock and stamped a different sentiment on each panel. I adhered the panels to the card bases with foam tape. This give lots of dimension when you are placing a white panel onto a white card base. The trio of pumpkin images were attached to the fronts of each card with foam tape once again for added interest and dimension. If you were planning on mailing this card you could attached the image directly on to the panel.
Thanks for stopping in today and a Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to you!
