Ghostly Greetings

Hard to believe that we are halfway through October already! However, now it's time to start breaking out the Halloween stamps and dies and make some fun and spooky cards. Of course for Halloween you need to have a spooky night sky and I created mine with some Distress Oxide inks.

Once dry I cut my hillside using the Elegant Stitched Dot Edge Dies in black and then before I adhered it I used the piece to decide where I was going to sit my black cat silhouette from the Happy Halloween clear stamp set. The cat was stamped and embossed using Catherine Pooler Black Jack ink so that his silhouette would appear in the night sky background as he was tucked behind the big pumpkin from the Best of Fall clear stamp set. The pumpkin was embossed in black and colourd with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I used a sentiment also from the Happy Halloween clear stamps that I embossed in white on the black hillside.
