Happy Harvest

What a big difference a week can make!

Last week I was posting that it was still very much summer here but as I type this it is only 11C (51F) outside. Although there is still warm weather on the horizon, fall is around the corner and today I have another card for autumn to share with you.

I used the Perfect Pumpkin Die Set to create a fun pumpkin ready for the fall harvest. I sponged Spiced Marmalade and Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide inks onto a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock for the pumpkin, Green Olive and Peeled Paint for the leaves and Walnut Stain for the stump.

The panels were flicked with clean water before I cut the shapes and assembled the pumpkin. The background was a blend of Tumbled Glass and Broken China distressed with some watered down Copic Opaque White. That panel was trimmed with the rounded Elegant Stitched Dot Edge die, the panel was addded to the card base with foam tape and finally the pumpkin was added to the card with foam tape as well.

Have a wonderful day!
