Fall Leaves Teacup Pincushion

Hello, Lisa Hoel here. It's officially fall now, my favorite season!! The leaves are turning here and the weather is perfect. I've been on a pincushion making kick lately and was inspired to create a fall-themed one:

I found the teacup at the thrift store and I used the Leaves & Petals and Grand Leaf Trio die sets to cut the leaves out of wool felt. They cut perfectly!

White cotton flannel is the base. I stretched a square of it into an embroidery hoop and went to town stitching on the leaves and embellishing them. I didn't really have a pattern; I just went for it. ;-)

Thanks for stopping by! I suggest getting a pumpkin-spice latte this week to get into the spirit of fall lol.
