Happy Wednesday everyone! Rosemary here with a happy hello card that I made using the sweet Pretty Posies stamp set and the Grande Greetings Hello die.
As many of you know the Daily Marker 30 Day coloring challenge is happening this month and that has sparked me to try to do a little more coloring. I have not used the Pretty Posies stamp set in awhile and so I decided to get it out and do some watercoloring with my ZIG Clean Color Real Brush markers. I also did some masking with this card too. I started by stamping the smallest posie with Ranger Old Paper ink on Canson water color paper. I created a mask, placed it over the stamped image and then stamped the medium sized posie. A mask of the medium posie was also made and placed on top and then a second small posie was stamped. The same thing was done for the leaves. Then I got to watercoloring the images. I had originally thought I would try to do some no line watercoloring, but it didn't quite work so I just ended up outlining all the petals of each flower with the lightest color I used to color the flower. Once the piece was try I trimmed it down and the die cut the word hello from the panel. The word was then cut four times from black cardstock, stacked with the top die cut and then inserted into the opening (I covered the back with washi tape so the word would have something to stick to). Then I simply adhered the piece to a light green cardstock base with foam stamp.
