Hey there friends! Hope you are having a wonderful week! I have a card to share today that I think would be perfect for the graduate in your life. This card uses the newly released World Adventure stamp set along with the It's a Tweet World die set.
I told you that I would be making more shaker cards using AJVD dies and that is what I did with this card. I started by die cutting some coordinating patterned paper with the second largest die in the Stitched Dot Rectangle die set. Using the circle die from the It's a Tweet World set I cut the opening in the piece that would be on top. Then I created a bit of a problem for myself because I decided that I wanted the bottom panel to be at an angle to the top panel so figuring out how to stamp the globe on the bottom panel was a bit tricky, but I got it figured out. Once that was done I created the shaker portion of the card. I used the small pointer die to create some pieces to put inside the shaker element and then added some Oiled Rubbed Bronze sequins. I closed up the back with some additional acetate and then added the back panel. I then die cut the globe stand from woodgrain patterned paper multiple times, adhered then together and then adhered the globe stand to the top panel. I die cut some vellum with the banner die from the Minnie Pearl Bookmark die set and then embossed the sentiment in black and adhered it to the panel. To finish I adhered the panels to a gray woodgrain cardstock base.
