Celebrations Shaker Birthday Card

Hello there! Lisa Hoel here with a festive shaker card to share with you today. I made this for my nephew who just turned four (surprise!)

For the front of the card, I applied Versamark Ink to the Celebration INKboss plate and ran it through my machine  onto white cardstock. I then embossed it with crystal embossing powder and blended Abandoned Coral ink over the top. I cut an oval out of it and backed it with a piece of clear plastic.

I stamped the base layer with the Sunburst Swirl stamp and blended yellow inks over it, then adhered it to my card base. I used the foam tape to create a border all around the edge that would seal all the shaker bits in. I was extra careful to leave no gaps since I was also adding micro beads.

I poured in the beads, sequins, and chipboard 4 before adding the top. It's always tricky to make sure no little loose parts stick to the top surface of the foam tape as you are adhering the front of the card. Those little beads kept jumping up there!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week!
