A Jillian Vance Design: CAS Happy Mother's Day Card

Hello everyone... Helen is here. The next special holiday is Mother's Day.
It is one of my favorites holidays :)
My card today is also inspired by Spring flower and rain.

I created the background with smooshing technique using Fiesta Blue CP Ink.
I tap the ink pad on craft mat, spray with water, and dipped the watercolor paper.
To get the layers and depth of colors, I dried the paper ink between adding color.
I also sprayed some water on it and dabbed it off with paper towel
to create more distress texture on it.
Last step, I added some splatters on it with the same ink.

I added the finished watercolored background on
a white card base with dries-clear adhesive glue.

I cut out 3 sizes of the flower petals from Pop Up Petals Die Set.

Then using a stylus, I curled the petals of the flowers.

and after that I added them on the card with the dries-clear adhesive glue.

I cut out a white cardstock with one of the banners from Sentiment Banners Die Set.

I stamped the sentiment phrase "happy" on the card with Tiki Torch CP Ink, and then I stamped the sentiment phrase "mother's day" from Mother's Day Stamp Set

on that banner with the same ink using my Mini MISTI.

I added the banner on the card with 3D foam tape for extra dimension.

I finished this card with some of the Snowcap White Opaque Sequins.
