I Love You Forever, Cross Stitching Card

Hello everyone... Helen is here today.
Valentine's Day is coming soon, and I have a fun love themed card to share with you using the Cross Stitch Love Stamp Set, Hoop It Up Die Set, and the new Pegboard Cover Plate.

When I saw the Pegboard Die, I imagine that I could do some cross-stitching with this die. I tried and I LOVE IT :) It brings back some memories when I was in Elementary and Middle School. I did lots of cross-stitching and hand embroidery school projects.

First I cut out a piece of white cardstock with the Pegboard Die, and then I cut it again with the hoop die from Hoop It Up Die Set. That's how I got the middle circle for stitching.

Using pencil, I follow the cross-stitched heart pattern from the Cross Stitch Love Stamp Set. Then I stitched with 12 strand of strings (or just double the strings). The holes are also big enough for yarn strings.

I cut out the hoop frame with red cardstock 3 times, stacked them together with glue to create chipboard thickness.

I added some white acrylic paint splatters on the black card base. Then I added the hoop die cut and the finished stitched pegboard circle in the middle of it.

I stamped the sentiment with red ink pad on white cardstock, trimmed them down into sentiment strips, and added them on the card with 3D foam adhesive.

I hope this card inspire you to start your Valentine's Day/Love Day themed project :)
