Good morning! Ardyth here with a Christmas card using non-traditional colours.
I started by creating my background on watercolour cardstock and a wet-on-wet technique. This means putting clean, clear water on the paper before dropping in colour (in this case, 2 Distress Oxide inks). The water allows the colour to move freely and blend. I dried my panel and then laid down more ink, this time on the dry panel, giving the colours more depth. Once the panel was dry, I spritzed it with some water to activate the ink.
I stamped the branches and sentiment in simple black.
