Hello everyone...today I have a CAS, Mixed Media card to share with you. It is a Christmas card that I created using the Wreath of Hope Stamp and Dies Set, Big Christmas Stamp Set, Elegant Stitched Dot Edge Dies and Gold Sequins.
I created the wreath with some Color Burst powder. It is fun playing with this color burst powder :) I love creating some panels with them that I use on projects.
On a 9x12 Canson watercolor paper, I sprinkled some of the color burst powder (Chartreuse, Lime Green, and Turquoise). And then I sprayed it with some water. Make sure to have paper towel handy right beside you when you play with these powders :) I used paper towel to dab off some of the extra water. I also use craft heater to dry it.
I cut the watercolored panel into 4 pieces. I used one of them for this wreath. I die cut the Wreath of Hope, and then I put the negative and positive on Mini MISTI, and I align the Wreath of How stamp on the die cut. I stamped it using Hero Arts mini green ink pad.
For the sentiment, I stamped the sentiment from Big Christmas Greetings Stamp set with Versamark Ink, and heat embossed it with Hero Arts Princess Gold Embossing Powder. After that, I fussy cut it with micro-tip scissors.
I cut out green cardstock and added on the white card base. I cut out another red cardstock and die cut it with one of the Elegant Stitched Dot Edges Dies, and I added on top of the green.
I used 3D foam tape to add the wreath on the card. And used the 3D foam tape and liquid adhesive to added sentiment on top of it. I finished the card with some of the Pure Gold Satin Sequins Mix.
That's all my card today! I hope this will inspire you to start your Christmas projects :)
