Pretty Posies - Take Two

Good morning! Ardyth here with another take on Pretty Posies. It's amazing how you can get such different looks from stamps, depending on how you colour them! Last week, I used a no-line watercolouring technique. This week, I used embossed black lines, Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a whole lot of water to create this pretty stained-glass look.

I started by scribbling colour on my stamped image. I spritzed a lot ( A LOT) of water and tilted my board to help it spread. The embossed black lines prevented a lot of movement, so I went in with a brush to help some more. Here's a quick video:

Wow. A lot of water was really a lot. I don't think I would have tried spritzing that much water thinking it would just make a big mess. Now I know and can try it. Thanks for sharing.
