Hello!! To everyone in the US Happy 4th of July!!! Rosemary here today on the blog. I swapped days with Ardyth so one more patriotic card could be posted today. This one uses the distressed flag image from Simply Said: Old Glory along with the Stitched Dot Stars die set.
When Bunny contacted me about swapping days with Ardyth so that one more 4th of July inspired card could be posted on the 4th I immediately began thinking about what I would make and my first thought was to use the Simply Said: Old Glory stamp set. Then I thought it would be fun to do the camouflage die cutting technique. I stamped the two sections of the flag on a white cardstock panel and then die cut it with the Stitched Dot Rectangle die. Then I positioned both dies from the Stitched Dot Stars die set, die cut the panel and then removed the stars. The panel was then adhered to a navy blue cardstock card base. The stars were then added using different heights of foam dimensionals. I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment from Cross Stitch Freedom in red underneath the stars. I absolutely love how this card turned out!! Adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge of red, white and blue. My card is also perfect for the Cupcake Inspirations challenge and the Less is More challenge (use the colors of your country's flag) so I will be posting it at both challenges.

Awesome design! The flag image is great, and to pair it with the camouflaged stars was genius.
