Hello!!! Rosemary here with a fun card that I made using two new products that you can find in the AJVD store. Succulents are super popular right now and AJVD has come out with a stamp set called Succa for You along with a fun cactus die called Cute Cactus. My card today uses both products along with an older AJVD product.
I started my card by watercoloring some Ranger watercolor paper with a light blue from my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor set and set it aside to dry. The cactus was die cut from additional watercolor paper and colored with the three shades of green ZIG clean color markers you see in the photo and clean water. I love the variegated look I was able to achieve with the cactus. A touch of brown was added to the little spikes on the cactus. I die cut the little cactus flower and then colored it with a yellow ZIG. Once the flower was dry I added a drop of Nuvo Blizzard glitter drops to the center. The hills were cut from a light kraft cardstock using the Slippery Slopes & Stitched Clouds die set. The sentiment was stamped on the smaller hill. Two clouds were also die cut using the Slippery Slopes & Stitched Clouds set. I trimmed down my background panel and then layered everything up as you see. Since my cactus is green I'm going to add this to the new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge to use green.
