Hello!!! Rosemary here on the blog today. I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's day!! I'm popping in today with a birthday card that I made using the Stitched Fringe Border die and the Daisy die set.
About a year ago I saw a card that the designer had covered with strips of fringed paper. They used a die similar to the Stitched Fringe Border die and once I got my die I wanted to make a similar type of card. But unfortunately I wasn't able to make the card I had in mind until now. I started by die cutting some lovely rose gold polka dot paper from the My Mind's Eye Hooray 6x6 pad with the Stitched Fringe Border die three times. The Daisy die set has three daisies so I cut one of each from another paper from the pad and then adhered them together with foam dots. A little gold embellishment from the My Mind's Eye Yes, Please line was added to the center. I layered all the fringe pieces on the card base and then tied some sheer green ribbon around the base. The flower was added and then the sentiment from Birthday Art was stamped in VersaFine Vintage Sepia. To finish I fluffed up the fringe a bit. Love how this turned out! Going to add this to the new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge to use a flower or flowers.
