You Hold The Key To My Heart

Hello everyone, Helen is here again as Guest Designer. Today, I am sharing another Valentine's Day card using the Valentine's Day stamp set:

I heat-embossed the word Love, XOXO and hearts with White Embossing powder to create the background. Then I added some shade of red glitter ribbon as the border.

I trace the heart shape on the background with my Spectrum Aqua marker. Then using wet paint brush, I pulled the color to fill the heart. The heat-embossed background resist the watercolor paint. Then I decided to add some glitter on the heart with Spectrum Noir Sparkle brush.

I created a sentiment banner. I stamped the sentiment from the Valentine's Day stamp set with red ink pad on a white cardstock, and the key on another piece. Then I cut the banner tail. I also fussy cut the key.

I added the sentiment banner on the card with some glue dots. I finished my card with some pink gems assortment.

That's all from me today! I hope you all are inspired :) THANK YOU for visiting me and have a fabulous day!

Blooming Rose Card

AJVD, Kecia Waters, Copic markers
We are approaching Valentine's Day, so I thought it might be appropriate to make a card with the beautiful AJVD "Blooming Rose Die Set".  Kecia Waters on the blog today.

To make this card, I cut X-Press It cardstock with both the rose and the flower from the "Blooming Rose Die Set".  I kept the outline of the rose and leaf white, but colored the inside pieces with Copic markers.

The sentiment is from AJVD's "Kelly's Hope" and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.    I scored around the card panel.

I (heart) U

Hey y'all! Shelly, here!
Happy Friday!!

Today I'm sharing another simple love card with you!

I started with stamping on my stitches from the Cross Stitch Love stamp set, using a darker pink ink. After I stamped on my sentiment piece (from the same set) using a dark grey ink.

Once done, I used the Stitched Dot Rectangle die with it and added it to my card base. To finish things off, I added a touch of white twine. Simple and sweet, yeah?!...

Love Birds

Today Cupid makes another appearance and this time I paired him up with Prima paper along with coordinating flowers.  I used the retiring Love Birds {Die}alogue, make sure you grab it before it's gone.

To cut the layers, I used the retiring Banner {die}tails Nested Dies, one of my favorite die sets.
I used Glue Dots Strong adhesive glue, it really is strong, if you use it, once you've placed it onto the paper, it's there for good.  If you try removing it will tear your paper.

I cut all the banners with different pattern paper.  Love how dainty the Love Birds die cuts!

I added sequins to embellish and sprayed a bit of pink shimmer mist.

I hope you enjoyed my card as much I as enjoyed making it.  Thank you for visiting, Yolie.

we just click...

Hello!!!  Rosemary here on the blog today with a valentine that would be perfect for the special guy in your life!   I used the super cute AJVD set Picture Perfect.
The card is pretty straight forward.  I stamped the camera on some patterned paper using gray ink and then trimmed it out.  Some strips of a light blue paper were cut and adhered to the card front and then I adhered the camera.  The sentiment was added using the same gray ink and then for just a bit of shine I added a little gold acrylic heart from My Mind's Eye.  A little touch of bling that even a guy can't complain about, lol!!  Going to add this to the new SSS Wednesday challenge of anything goes.

I Love You Forever

Hello everyone... Helen is here again as the Guest Designer. I am still working on more Valentine's Day project and today I am share another Clean-and-Simple, Valentine's Day Card.

When I do not have specific themed papers in my stash, I love using stamps to create the background for my card. And today, I use the Heart Background Builder Cling Stamp for my background card.  I stamped it on my Cranberry cardstock with the match Cranberry ink pad. Then I cut it off slightly smaller the size of A2 card base.

After that, I added some white acrylic paint splatters and gold paint splatters on that background panel. Set a side to dry while I was working on the embellishments and sentiment.

I stamped the stitched border from Cross Stitch Love Stamp Set with White Archival Ink Pad. Then I stamped the stitched hearts with Cranberry Ink Pad on a white cardstock and fussy cut them with micro-tip scissors.

The sentiment is from Cross Stitch Love Stamp Set, I stamped it on a piece of Cranberry cardstock with black ink pad and cut out the pennant tail with scissors.

I die cut the Circle Chain Border Die our of white cardstock. This die cuts you can use them as border individually or you can stack them together.

I added the background panel on the black card base with adhesive runner, next is the circle chain die cuts, next layer is the white twine. I then staples the 2 hearts together and added them on the card with thick glue dots. And then I added the sentiment pennant on the card with 3D foam tape. I finished the card with some pearl gems.

Here are the previews of the AJVD Stamp Sets and Die I used today:

That's all for today :) I hope you all like it and be inspired to create handmade card for Valentine's Day. THANK YOU SO MUCH for visiting today and have fabulous day!
