Hey friends!! Happy Wednesday!!! Rosemary here with a fun card that I made using the newly released Simply Said: Happy Daisy stamp set. The Simply Said: Happy Daisy set has a cute little daisy that is perfect for paper piecing or coloring, as well as a sweet little bee and lots of fun sentiments.
I started out my card by inking up a portion of the Dainty Dots background builder stamp with some Scattered Straw distress ink and then laying my cardstock on top. I pressed lightly to pick up just a portion of the inked area. The daisy was stamped using a dark green ink over the top of the dots, as was the sentiment and the little bee. I used my mini MISTI to stamp my sentiment to make sure I got a really nice impression. The flower portion of the daisy was stamped in orange ink on orange polka dot paper and trimmed out. Before adhering the daisy I die cut my panel using a Polka Dot Rectangle backdrop die. The little bee was stamped and I added Buttercup Stickles to the body and Star Dust Stickles to the wings. The flower was adhered with foam tape and then Star Dust Stickles were added to that as well. The panel was adhered to a dark green card base and I was done... super quick and easy!! Going to add this to the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of flowers.
