Happy Monday! Kecia Waters on the blog today sharing a card I made using the "Simply Said: Moon & Back" stamp set. I can't believe how quickly this card came together. Really.
On a black cardstock panel, I sponged Brillance Moonlight White pigment ink using the negative of a circle cut with AJVD's "Circle Backdrop Die Set". Once happy with the result, I did a little shading or moon crater work, freehand with a gray Prismacolor pencil.
Using white pigment ink, I stamped the amazing looking sentiment from "Simply Said: Moon & Back" stamp set. I then embossed this sentiment with white embossing powder. Using a white Gelly Roll pen I added a few dots on the black cardstock to serve as the stars. I placed the black cardstock panel on a white card panel.

Kecia, this card is absolutely beautiful! I adore that sentiment and the pretty, scripty font but the way you created the moon is so very clever!
