blooming birthday...

Happy Wednesday everyone!!  Rosemary here with my second post this week.  This time I made a quick birthday card using the Blooming Rose die set and the Showers of Blessings stamp set.

The color combo and layout come from the current Fusion Card challenge and so I will be posting my card to that challenge.  I die cut the rose from pink cardstock and the leaves from dark blue.  I used some pieces of washi tape on the back side of the rose to keep the center portion in place.  The same thing was done to the leaves.  The patterned papers come from My Mind's Eye (two different 6x6 pads).  To add some interest to the white cardstock piece I added some partial embossing after I stamped the sentiment.  I love how the flower and the leaves turned out.  The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is anything goes so I will post this there.

Awesome Rosi. I love how you only removed part of the die. That is so cool.
