tis the season...

Happy Wednesday A Jillian Vance Design fans!!  Rosemary here with a fun little snowman shaker card that you can make using the Sam E. Snowman shaker die set, Slippery Slopes & Stitched Clouds dies, and the Big Christmas Greetings Stamp set.

Last spring, shortly after I joined the A Jillian Vance Design team, my sweet friend Lisa (who was on the AJVD design team at the time) sent me all the little pieces to create Sam E. Snowman.  All these many months he has been patiently waiting for me to put him together into a proper snowman and finally that day has come.  After assembling the shaker portion of Sam and filling the area with white, gunmetal and blue A Jillian Vance Design sequins I adhered the clear acetate piece to the top portion.  Finally I added all the fun snowman details like his jaunty hat and scarf, carrot nose and "coal" mouth.  Lisa was even included some teeny tiny "googly eyes".  A little snowflake/star embellishment was added to his hat.  I die cut my snow with the Slippery Slopes dies and adhered them to a piece of patterned paper die cut with my workhorse AJVD Polka Dot Rectangle Backdrop dies.  Sam was added along with the sentiment and I was done.
