Rainbow Leaves Card

AJVD, Kecia Waters, leaves, rainbow

Autumn's beauty is quite spectacular.  Kecia Waters on the blog today with my attempt to capture that colorful beauty on a card.

To make this card, I used AJVD {Die}signs "Leaves and Petals Die Set" to cut multiple leaves from watercolor paper.  I then used a host of colorful dye inks and sponged color onto the leaves:  Adirondack Sunshine Yellow, Adirondack Lettuce, Adirondack Cranberry, Distress Ink Wild Honey, Marvy Ochre, and SeaShells Peach Bellini.  Then, I added various shades of color with Tombow markers and wet the leaves with a waterbrush.

On a card panel of watercolor paper, I stamped the sentiment from the AJVD stamp set "Autumn Blessings" with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.  I scored two lines along the bottom of that panel with a Scor-It.  I then adhered the leaves above the scored lines.  I rounded the bottom corners with a punch.
