Holly Jolly Days

Hey y'all! Shelly, here!

I know most are in the Halloween spirit of things, but before we know it Christmas will be arriving soon! ;) So for today, I'm sharing a simple Christmas card with y'all!

I went on the 'lighter' side of things. I used some distress markers on a piece of acetate and then spritzed it with water. After, I placed the acetate over my card and just pressed down, moving the colors around with my fingers. Once I liked where and how my colors were mixed, I removed the piece of acetate and used my heat gun to dry/set my colors.

I used the Winter Woodland stamp set  (which by the way, is on sale for 12$!) for my background and sentiment. For my background I chose to use a lighter ink color to somewhat match within my distress colors. I did also add some shimmer on my snowman, but I wasn't quite able to capture it on my card. :( To finish things off, I added a few sequins.

I'd love to hear what you think?!...
