It's Thursday already. I think this week is just flying by so quickly. Kecia Waters on the blog today, sharing an easy and fun card that you can make in just minutes with the AJVD stamp set "Oh Nuts!" designed by Whimsie Doodles.
Using AJVD's "Circle Backdrop Die Set", I cut a circle panel of Cryogen White Curious Metallic cardstock. I stamped the mushroom image from "Oh Nuts!" with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the circle. I then stamped the mushroom image again, but this time onto masking film so I could create a mask.
I sponged Distress Ink Tumbled Glass and Adirondack Lettuce dye inks onto the circle. Then, I removed the masked mushrooms and colored with Copic markers. I drew some grass blades with Copic markers also. For finishing touches, I paper pierced around the circle and added Glossy Crystal Accents directly onto the mushrooms for some shine.
I placed the circle onto a white cardstock panel, and stamped the hilarious sentiment, also for "Oh Nuts!" with Versafine Onyx Black ink.
