Hello A Jillian Vance Design friends!! Rosemary here today with a card that would be perfect as a birthday card for a special friend or family member. Speaking of special people all this week we have been celebrating the birthday of a very special young lady, Jillian Vance. Make sure you check out some info at the end of my post to see just who won the FIVE $16 gift certificates!
For this card I used the A Jillian Vance Design Simply Noted: Art Nouveau set and a beautiful color palette of pink, navy, white and gold. That is the current color palette at Colour Q so I will be posting my card there, as well. I stamped the large border image from the set along one side of my cardstock using navy blue ink and then die cut the cardstock using the largest AJVD Polka Dot Backdrop Rectangle die for a nice finished look. The "celebrate" was die cut using the AJVD Celebrate Die{alogue} word die from pink and gold cardstocks and then layered together with the gold one slightly offset behind the pink one. The word "you" came from the "thinking of you" sentiment from the set. I simply masked off the "thinking of" with a post it note, inked up the "you" with navy ink and then stamped after removing the post it note. The card was finished off with some AJVD pure gold satin sequins.
