Sharing in Your Sorrow...

Hello friends!!
Rosemary here today with a card to share.  I don't know about you, but sympathy cards are always hard for me to make.  Now that I have the beautiful A Jillian Vance Design set Simply Said:  Sympathy I know making heartfelt sympathy cards will be a bit easier.  I paired Simply Said:  Sympathy with Simply Noted:  Damask to create my card.

I cut a panel of light grey cardstock and partially embossed it using an embossing folder that had a similar look to the damask images in Simply Noted:  Damask.  Some strips of patterned paper (from Authentique) were trimmed and adhered to the panel.  A piece of white cardstock was cut down to size and then stamped with the sentiment in black ink.  I then stamped the single damask image in a light yellow ink randomly around the piece.  Adhered the piece and then added some AJVD black onyx satin sequins.

Such a lovely sympathy card! I love the texture in the background...it pairs so beautifully with the Damask pattern, and the sentiment is perfect! Fabulous neutral color palette, too!
