Hi, Lisa Lara here today sharing a fun
One Layer Love Note
Using Love Ya Whole Bunches and Frosty Die Set.
I love one layer cards.
They are usually quick and easy to make and mail friendly like this one. You are going to love having these on hand to cheer up a friend, Valentines, stick in your loved one's lunch or brief case etc.
One of the great things about clear stamps is you can stamp the back of the stamp as well.
That is what I did here, I took the "I love you" speech bubble image from this set and stamped the back a five times randomly using five colors with the card base flat.
Next I flipped the stamp over and stamped the sentiment image using black ink.
Yes, I was leery at first that the image would not match up exactly with the silhouette, but I liked the look so I went with it and purposely stamped out of the lines so to speak. This gives it an interesting graphic design look.
After I folded up the card I decided to add this little sentiment from the set.
I stamped it using a very soft grey. Gives it some added interest.
I still felt the card was missing something so I made my own heart embellishment.
First, I stamped the corner of scrap cardstock with VersaMark ink pad.
I covered it with gold embossing powder.
I shook off the excess embossing powder.
I cut as many little hearts, from Frosty die set, as I could (will save them to use later).
