Hello friends!! Rosemary here to share a card that I made using the newly released A Jillian Vance Design set Simply Said: Showers of Blessings. This new set is full of wonderful sentiments for cards ranging from Mother's day to birthday. A real "must have" set!!
I started by stamping the sentiment on white cardstock using Delicata Golden Glitz ink. I just love the rich buttery gold of this ink! I then die cut the sentiment using a plain circle die and then matted the circle with a slightly larger circle die cut from some buttery yellow shimmer cardstock. I then cut a strip of white cardstock and embossed it using one of the dies from the A Jillian Vance Design Top Stitched Borders dies. These fun dies don't cut anything, but emboss a sweet little border stitch motif onto your cardstock. I love the little bit of detail that it adds to the design. I partially embossed the white panel with a dotted embossing folder and then added a sprinkling of A Jillian Vance Design pure gold sequin mix. The current challenge at CAS on Sunday is to use gold so I will be adding this to the gallery there.
